How to Make this recipe
This gluten-free creamy penne pasta has become one of my favorite pasta recipes! I have never made anything like this, but I found it so easy to make! I love to add as much protein and vegetables to my recipes and this sauce has just that! The savory flavor meshes flawlessly with the cream- it is like heaven in a bowl! I love how the ground turkey and creamy sauce come together for the perfect bite. Plus, it’s super convenient when you make enough fore leftovers. It reheats beautifully and you have double the me!
Ingredients

- Jovial Gluten Free Penne Pasta
- Half and Half
- Tomato Sauce
- Bell Peppers
- Onion
- Turkey Sausage
Directions
- Start by preparing the Penne pasta according to its box instructions. I used Jovial’s gluten free penne pasta.
- Cut the turkey sausage into 1″ pieces.
- Cook the turkey sausage in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook until no longer pink.
- Add Onion and Bell Peppers and cover with the pan lid. Let them cook until soft.
- Pour in the half and half and the tomato sauce. Stir them together until creamy.
- Fold the penne pasta into the creamy sauce until pasta is completely covered.
- Serve and enjoy!
Alternatives & Add-ons
- To make this dairy free, use coconut cream instead of half and half.
- Increase your protein by adding Italian sausage.
- Want more veggies? Try adding spinach!

Prepare penne pasta according to box instructions. (I use Jovial Penne pasta and would recommend using it for this recipe).

Next, slice the turkey sausage into 1" pieces.

In a large pan, cook the turkey sausage until brown.

Add diced onion and bell peppers. Cook until soft.

Pour tomato sauce and half and half into the pan. Stir until combined.

Add the cooked penne pasta and stir until noodles are covered in the creamy sauce.
