How to Make Creamy Rotini Pasta

This dish is so creamy and delicious! I love to the texture of the pasta paired with the rich creamy texture of the sauce. The tomato sauce has just the right balance of richness and acidity, coating every bite of tender pasta and chicken. Plus, it’s so versatile—you can customize it with different veggies, add some spice, or even swap the protein. Best of all, it’s a one-pot meal, so cleanup is a breeze!

Ingredients

  • Jovial Rotini Pasta
  • Chicken Breast
  • Broccoli
  • Olive oil
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Tomato Pasta Sauce
  • Half and Half
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Paprika

Directions

  1. Cook pasta according to the instruction on the box. (I use Jovial Rotini pasta for the best texture)
  2. In a pan, simmer onion and garlic in olive oil over medium heat.
  3. While the veggies simmer, cut chicken into 1 inch cubes and season with salt, pepper and paprika.
  4. Back at the pan, push onion and garlic to the edges and add chicken chunks. Cook the chicken until no longer pink.
  5. Add tomato sauce and cream to the pan. Make sure to stir thoroughly so the sauces combine evenly.
  6. Add chopped vegetables to chicken and sauce. Stir and let veggies soften.
  7. Add drained pasta to the sauces mixture.
  8. Enjoy!

Alternatives & Add-ons

  • To make this dairy free, replace the half and half with coconut milk. It won’t be as thick, but it will be smooth and creamy.
  • Increase your protein by adding different types of sausage or shrimp.
  • Want more veggies? Try adding spinach!
  • Top your pasta with Parmesan cheese. What other toppings do you put on your pasta?
